Privacy Policy
Effective October 14, 2026
This policy explains how FinFreedom Expressway handles information when you visit finfreedomexpressway.com or contact us.
Who operates this site
FinFreedom Expressway is Mary Zheng’s personal finance and FIRE education website. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].
Information you choose to provide
If you contact us by email, we receive your email address, the message, and information you include. We use it to respond, handle site or publishing questions, and keep necessary correspondence. Please do not send financial account credentials, tax returns, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive financial records.
Information from site visits
Our hosting, content delivery, and security providers may process technical data such as IP addresses, browser information, request times, pages requested, and diagnostic or security logs. This helps deliver the site, maintain performance, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems. The site uses WordPress and is hosted by Hostinger, with Cloudflare providing domain and traffic services.
Cookies and browser storage
WordPress may use cookies for login and other necessary site functions. Hosting and security services may also use necessary cookies. The current site design does not add advertising trackers, a newsletter sign-up service, or its own analytics tracking. You can manage cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary cookies can affect login or site features.
Calculators and checklist
The financial planning tools calculate results in your browser. Their numeric inputs and checklist selections are not submitted to us or stored by these tools. They last in the current page session. A printed checklist stays with you. Standard technical requests to load the page may still appear in provider logs.
Books, orders, and payments
All products are Coming Soon. We currently do not accept orders, preorders, or payments through this site. If commerce or new data-collection features are introduced, this policy will be updated to explain the applicable practices.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by providers needed to operate the website or email, or disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a legitimate transfer of site operations. Providers may process data in countries outside your location under their applicable terms.
Retention and security
We keep correspondence only as reasonably needed for its purpose, records, or applicable obligations. Technical-log retention depends on provider practices. We use HTTPS and reasonable safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can choose not to contact us, control browser cookies, and ask about personal information you have provided. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or otherwise control personal data. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity and consider legal retention requirements.
External links and children
Linked sites have their own privacy practices. This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We will post material changes here and update the effective date. Please review this page when new site features become available.
